Cool ///M3 Titanium Exhaust

Hey guys just wanted to show my exhaust that came in today...I know almost all of te M3 owners are going with Eisenmann Race exhaust, I do love the sound but wanted something lighter and unique....Will install in a couple of weeks followed by videos and installed pics... Please tell me what you think..

Dixis Titanium Exhaust...7.8kg. compared to stocks 25kg. Should be a nice weight saving. Next mode anctiously waiting for is the GruppeM intake, That and the exhaust, pullys with ECU should give me a nice HP and TRQ increase.

Wanted to thank Sam from AutoTalent and Simon for their great customer service and knowledge.

The bends are a bit worrisome no? It doesn't look uniform at all ... unless it doesn't really matter, but I thought it did.

Maybe it is, but I highly doubt that Dixis will make an exhaust with bends that will restrict the flow. Correct me if Im wrong.

Vorsteiner sells a TI exhaust for about $3500. I wonder how much this one was...

cost please.

Does it come with a warranty, Ti exhausts are more prone to get cracks and failure at the welds.

Yes, TI is prone to crack. Unless you live in a temperate climate with extremely warm winters I'd avoid getting a TI exhaust.

Well I ddo live in a warm climate, also Dixis is a very reputable tuning company which is known for their excellent exhausts, I would be worrie If I purchased the exhaust from Vorsteiner, which is supposedly made here, not to put down Vorsteiner but I wont buy an exhaust from a company that makes aero kits.

Good question I will find out about the warranty, am not worried cause of the companys reputation for making excellent exhausts for 15+ years.

Dixis is hand made to order in Japan and was shipped via air for $4800 total.

I have to agree with this. Can all those welds in the bends be good? It would seem to me that a smooth pipe would have much better flow....

Nice exhaust. I like that it's tucked up transversely, it doesn't stick out at all like the setups with two individual mufflers. It's also pretty good value for a Japanese Ti exhaust, other companies will sell stainless with Ti tips for that money.

I'm waiting for a GruppeM exhaust & CAI to arrive in a couple of weeks, looking forward to the cracks in the Ti!

It's almost like flex pipe.
