Fullscreen CarPlay patch kills the smoothness and frame rate
I've tried it with 2 different phones and it makes no difference.
Before getting fullscreen CarPlay patched/coded in CarPlay was a flawless 60fps like the rest of the ID6 menus. Now it's like 30 fps and a bit stuttery. Is this just a crappy side effect of this mod? |

I was curious about this as well, and then figured it would look crappy stretched out and didn't bother
Let us know if you fix this, and how I found a nice looking clock to fill useless space on the right side

This is definitely interesting... could be a reason why BMW initially had CarPlay to 2/3 of the screen as the hardware is capable of doing the smooth 60FPS at 800x480 only but isn't quick enough for the full 1280x480 resolution so they lower the frame rate to 30FPS.
