BM3 how hard is it on the engine ?

“Dumb” question:

On a complete stock engine using oem maps or stage one 1 map how hard is it on the engine ? Will it shorten the life of specific parts, blown engine ? Etc

I only plan to go stage one so only care about feed back on that.

I’ve been reading all really good things about BM3 and thinking of buying.

If you use the car on a circuit, in high temperatures on 91 octane, you need to critically interpret the datalogs of any off the shelf tune from any provider for any engine in my opinion. Too many reduce safety features in response to knock/high temperatures and have not been tested in harsh conditions, but are competing for results from an initial pull. I want to know how they do after 20 minutes on a circuit and see if the datalogs and dyno plots still look nice or at least safe after several pulls back to back. Often the answer to that is the stock tune unless you use high octane fuel and have upgraded parts. This hard use or your engine being perfect years from now might not be relevant to all.
