LCI Taillights coding & always on with DRL

Hi all, I recently installed a set of euro LCI taillights on my 2017 F82. It's been several years since the last time I coded my car. I have a windows laptop with E-Sys and cable. I believe all I have to do is add HELC to HO-WORT of Vehicle Order, and VO code REM module.

Can someone just point me to some steps to be able to accomplish this?

Also, I like the look of the LCI taillights and would love to have them always on with DRL. Is there a way to code this?

TIA

The steps you mentioned above was spot on already mate, because your car is '17 F82 i believe that the i-step level are high, so no other things to do, it's simply:
1. open e-sys, establish a connection to your car.
2. read FA and save them.
3. edit FA and add HELC to HO-WORT section
4. calculate FP, after success calculated, save as the modified FA
5. under Expert Mode, click on VCM and load the modified FA
6. Write FA&FP
7. go back to to Expert Mode and Read SVT
8. double check if the FA already activated.
9. choose REM module, right click, and choose code

voila!

for the DRL on '0' switch position, you have to set 4 parameters on REM module and FDL code them

Inner part of the LED bar:
on 3062 section
L: MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_L_OUTPUT to be sl_2_l
R: MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_R_OUTPUT to be sl_2_r

Outer Part of the LED bar:
L: MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H_L_OUTPUT to be sl_l
R: MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H_R_OUTPUT to be ls_r

hope it helps, goodluck

for some reason, my esys app keeps asking for a software token. I pick a path, enter a 4-digit PIN and it tells me it successfully created a token but keeps prompting me again and again.

How do I get around this?

Not my thread, but thank you for this little guide. Was struggling to find a step by step for the LCI upgrade coding but this is perfect.
