AA midpipe rattles and fitment

Been really close to buying this but I've read multiple threads from people having rattling issues or fitment issues.

If I go this route I'll most def just get the AA brace to be 100%.. but is there some bigger issue I don't know about?

I hate modding your car after spending money then having a negative come along with it.. rattles would be a no go.

Did everyone fix this issue that had it?

Look for Tommy L Garage's Youtube video of his install. Worst case you just add some washers for some more clearance.

I just added about 3 washers per bolt and it cleared the heat shield and the brace, AA makes a brace for $125 too. I went washers instead though

According to Active Autowerke, if you install it per their instructions you won't need washers and you won't hit the center brace causing rattle. With that said I had my AA midpipe installed at a reputable shop and they still had to use washers. Not a big deal and no rattle.

I thought his was fixed after washers and readjustment, just like the others are mentioning here. Maybe I didn't remember correctly.

We installed one on the shop's M4 without any issues.
Just get the AA brace and washers
