Speed Channel Dummies
I was watching the Koni Challenge race today from Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama on the speed channel. There was an M Coupe (#18) that was up with the leaders and the play by play guy kept calling it a Z4 Roadster. Besides the fact that it's rare to see an MC in real race action on any channel, it's really frustrating to hear the car identified incorrectly. There was never even a mention that it was an M. Of course, the M3's were identified very precisely and repeatedly.

I see plenty of M Coupes in various racing series around here. It looks great out on the track. Of course, the commentators over here (especially in the UK) are far better than in the US too and rarely make mistakes as you pointed out. On a side note, listening to US racing commentators makes me completely sick to my stomach. Everything is, "the XX car". For example, the "27 car" just passed the "14 car." My god, what a bunch of hicks it makes us sound like. I much prefer when commentors refer to the driver's name.

My dealership has my car listed as a Z4 roadster in the system. I've tried to have them fix it, but I gave up after bringing it in twice. Rather just pound my head to the wall.

HA! I changed dealers, and haven't been back since. After giving them a bad review on the survey, 8 months later I get a letter from them saying my car is going to be due for services soon, and to make an appointment...this time they called it an M Coupe. I guess the system works, still not going back tho

Maybe you had all of those problems cause they put X3 tires on it instead of the right ones when you had it fixed
