CS EDC/VDC coding issue help

hey guys
just run into some issues coding the cs EDC to my 17 f80 zcp.

the coding comoleted successfully in esys however chassis error appears on dash

I then looked at ista+ which shows an ICM module error(not VDC interestingly) . I can't clear this code it just keeps coming back and any ICM resets in service plans also don't assist .

my settings for coding werr just to change tyoecode to 3s93 and chassis left at f080. then just code VDC. i have also tried with chassis in f082 with no difference

if I vo code back to 8m93 and flash VDC, I can clear codes in ista and everything is normal...

any help appreciated

Hi,

does the error says "chassis function restricted"?

i had the same problem, all you need to do is just re-calibrating the vertical sensors on ISTA.

Hope this helps.

if you need further assistance, pleasae let me know.

Hi, yes this is exactly the issue coming up. when i recalibrate the vertical sensors the test fails so something isnt right. any help appreciated, although i have coded back to F80 and it has resolved the issue for now

are you coding the VDC module by FDL code rather than VO code them?

try this step to vo code the VDC:

1. change the typeschlussel to US M3CS which is 3S73
2. vo code the VDC module
3. open ista, you should now see the EDC tree turns yellow
4. do the ABL recalibrating the four sensors

let me know the updates, hope it helps.
