GTS Tune

Hello,
Can anyone recommend someone in the area (Philadelphia) to help me out with getting the GTS tune on my f80? I know there is a gentlemen named Henry in the UK that can do it remotely but I'd prefer to work with someone local maybe? Has anyone in the area successfully completed migrating from the comp pack tune to the GTS on the local forum board here? Spring is just around the corner!

Do it on your own, as written in a thread before.
Go for the THOR Flasher and you are able to flash CS or GTS or reflash to CP whenever you like. For me with 2017 CP DCT and a friend of mine 2016 CP 6MT it makes a big difference, better traction and more grip, less nannying, smoother gear changes with DCT, steering in Sport and Sport+ is perfect now. You are getting a more refined MDM mode, THOR will come up with an EDC update also - for me the perfect way to go.

If you get bootmod3 you'll get the gts engine and dct tunes. You can also switch back and forth easily.

I think Bm3 license will solve it for you. It's 600$ for license and GRS tranny is included. Gts engine tune is one of the out of the box maps also (included). Not sure what other tune vendor is similar to BM3 but assume there are others providing similar product.
Based on my research of the tuning subject - You really only need custom tuning if you start changing parts and want to realize their potential. Also custom tuning is very limited if you keep the parts stock. Stock parts all have their limits and putting increase pressure on them will cause failure.

Had at first try but restarted and drove out and back into garage followed the given advice and it worked fine. So not really an issue.

100% the way to go! He's local, he's got a YouTube channel to build up your confidence in him, and he's got BootMod3 (pronounced boot mode, btw, lol)
