what color is that? I am interested in doing that color but only on the face of my 666 rims and leave the inside black.

Did you originally have the silver or the black 666 rims? When I swap my winters, I’m thinking of having mine painted black, since it goes better with the black ZCP package.

How much did it cost you? I asked my BMW dealer and they quoted me $600 and that includes mounting and balancing. My summers are being stored by the dealership, so it would be more convenient to get it done there, but don’t know if I’m paying too much or not. I haven’t checked any other place yet since I won’t be taking my winter tires off until probably late May. My car is new so I haven’t actually driven with the 666’s except for my test drive.

Hi yes there the original 666 all in silver. I didn't get enough time with them in silver as I bought black winter tire set up and liked the look as well. So I decided to powder coat the stock rims. I paid 750 dollars all in , but they fixed some curb rashes as well. Since i powder coated the rims, they are back on the car as I took my winters off and have it garaged in bad weather.

I need to get this done to my silver 437m reps but that's the price of the wheels themselves!

Thanks - Sounds like the dealership cost us reasonable. I’m in the same boat - haven’t really seen the 666’s in silver, other than during a night time test drive.

I don’t have much experience in painting rims, or knowing exactly what powder coating is, is this just a different way to paint rims, or is this how all rims are painted???

Yea, $600 sounds very reasonable. I might end up coating my silver ones to black before putting them back on? Which dealership are you talking to?

Cool that is pretty decent turnaround time. Assuming that you dropped it off with tires on.

Bmw gallery in Calgary. Just takes to my sales guy so far. Hopefully, price won’t change when service gets involved.
