M Performance Exhaust No Longer Supported In South Africa

So apparently BMW South Africa is soon to issue a notice that M Performance exhaust systems will no longer be motorplan friendly.

This is coming from a friend that is very clued up with BMW SA.
If this is true, it's kind of a raw deal for the owners as a lot of people here rock the MPE system and love it (I don't, I prefer my stock ZCP system).

Obviously they will still honour claims for people that currently have the system on their cars, or at least I hope so...

I think they are confusing MPE with Akra

BMW SA supports all BMW M Performance Parts. Its the Akra parts they no longer support but will honour warranties on existing fitments.

This was true, but it is now MPE as well.

Yeah this is apparently the reason for South Africa not bringing them in anymore as well.
Apparently M Performance will be stopped completely in the near future.
