BMC Filter Regeneration: Which kit? Tips?

Hey all, looking to give my BMC filters a cleaning -- I see there are two kits, one that has the oil in an aerosolized spray can, and a different one with liquid oil. Any preference as to which kit is better, and any tips in general for doing this right to avoid issues with the MAF sensor? Is one kit sufficient to clean 2 filters?

The liquid squeeze bootle is a pain in the butt to use correctly. I'm getting the spray next time.

How many miles are on your filters? I checked mine with 15k miles on them and they didn’t need any cleaning. I just tapped off some of the larger particles and reinstalled. I heard once you cannot see areas of the mesh anymore, that is when it’s time for a clean.

Thanks.... somewhere between 15-20K on mine I think. I think I'll get the spray version just in case, take em off and see how they look...
