flat tire warning
So i am driving to work today and the warning comes up saying you have a flat
tire. I was only about 5 minutes from work and the car felt fine so I didn't pull over. When I got to work I looked at the tires and they seemed to be ok. I reset the tpms and drove home carefully. When I got home I tested the psi. 41 in the front and 43 in the back. I checked the manual and it says 33/35. So either my tire pressure gauge is off or my dealer is retarded. Anyways the warning hasn't come up again so hopefully its was just a false alarm. What pressure do you guys keep your e92 at? thanks lebreeze

If you are using the stock tires, I'd stick to the specified cold pressures for everyday driving. Pressure will increase when you heat up the tires, but I doubt that you pushed the car hard enough on your way home for them to get up to 41/43.

That's funny, mine came on yesterday haha. All my tires appear fine visually but I haven't had time to check pressures. I'm hoping it was due to the sudden cold weather. Went from a steady 60 degrees to sub 40 in the mornings.

I had the same issue a couple of days ago. All four tires had low pressure. I used the tire gauge and had 20 psi all around. Filled it back up to 33/35 and the warning sign disappeared. Checked the pressure again after a 30 min drive and it was okay. I'm assuming these PS2 tires are very sensitive to temp changes. I wonder if Conti's do the same.

I get that message once in a while also. Its my experience that all low profile tires leak air, especially in the cold. Keep them 1lb over factory setting, check every month or month and a half and keep a 9/16 deep socket in car, sometimes TMS sensor gets loose and leaks real slow. Snug them up, dont over-tighten or you will crack them.
