Coding TMPS?
I ordered some new wheels, tires, and TPMS and was calling around getting some quotes on mounting/balancing... one guy asked me if the TPMS needed to be coded still. I had not thought about this. He said they charge $100. Can someone point me to directions on how to do this if possible though eSys (assuming they exist)? I searched the forum but didn't find anything on this. Maybe they auto learn?

Quote:
Universal (aftermarket) TPMS sensors are typically coded to different manufacturers/makes, not aware of any that works with BMW.
