M4 CS on dealer lot

This was my loaner!

Psyche! That 320i next to it is the loaner, lol.

I can't believe the CS is $111k! At that price I'd get something else a little more exotic.

$4015 for a spoiler?
$305 for stickers?
$1085 for mirror caps?
Absolutely ridiculous!

I could be wrong, but I've assumed most of these will be acquired by collectors, or by owners who plan on keeping them for quite a long time. They're in the P-car bracket, but instead favor BMWs.

Our dealership had some M3 and M4 CS models and a number of regular M's with the satin paint finish. All priced out of my comfort zone...........

Nobody is really buying these cars. Collectors aren't going to make any money on these.

Not here. Bought my M4cs to keep for ~3 years, use as a 4-season daily driver and drive the hell out of it at the track .

I paid ~$83k USD for mine though. A 911 spec'ed to my liking is way more expensive and does not serve the DD duty as well (I have 2 kids).

Nope, that's how it's supposed to be mounted: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1319374

Makes you wonder how much downforce it actually generates (if any) ...

No - cool, I stand corrected. I mean, the nobody's got this thing locked down, right.

Tremblant? If so, send us the lap times - you know, but only if you're driving, and the lap times are under 1:50, and you have video backup, hear!

Yes, Tremblant, it’s my home track an hour and a half drive from home. 1:49.89 as a matter of fact on my first time out with the car. No video, but I do have the M-Laptimer to back it up .

You seem familiar with the LCMT track. If you don’t mind me asking, when was your last time there and on what occasion? We might have crossed paths.

You're fortunate to have MT as your home track. I think it's truly a great track.

Those are good times - drivers with fast cars frequently don't approach the limits of their cars.

My last driving at MT was a 1:51.556 lap on 14 June 2013: https://www.comscc.org/events/result...?id=2013-06-14. Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2e3aaeSGgCI. You'll see that the car was capable of more, but not the driver!

I instructed with the Boston Chapter of BMWCCA at Tremblant from 2012-2017. Perhaps you came to one or more of those events? Then I moved, now it's 865 miles away, and so it's further than I want to go.

I'd jump at a M3CS for that price. Are they really going for that "low"?

He is in Canada where the M4CS and M3CS are cheaper when you do the currency conversion
