Help me to decide my new wheels!!

Hello,

I'm about to order new wheels,
but can't really decide btwn HRE monoblock P43 and P40, cuz they both look so good.
I would like to have them in silver finish, and my car is AW.
Which one will look better on my car??

Thanks!

PS: No one got P40 in silver finish? I only could find Black and Brushed Aluminum finish.

Before investing in wheels, I'd try to see pics of them on the M3. Or Pshop them. Whatever it takes. The pics of CSL type rims on the E9X M3 are okay, but not exceptional IMO. So, the P40s would not be high on my list. I can't say much about the P43s based on just the pic of the wheel. It'll be interesting to see what BMW does to the E92 CSL in terms of wheels because whatever they end up doing to it will most likely become the new trend.

The stock 19" wheels look great and really hard to beat (in weight and looks). The Breyton GTS Race wheels look great IMO, but are considerably heavier. Anyway, I guess I didn't exactly answer your question here...

P43 looks great, the straight spokes somewhat resemble the stock wheels, a plus.

I have ordered the p40s in brushed finish. So my vote is for the p40s, but you cannot go wrong with either.

Looks pretty good actually. Are those 19s? How much do they weigh? Offsets? Width? Is there a thread on these?

OP, I would go with these. They have a fresher look.

I still like silver more than black,
here are P40 in brushed aluminum and Silver finished (pshop)

so, anyone who got painted finish, do you have any paint chip off problems?
I have HRE 640R charcoal finish on my X5, and I have chip off problems.

Both wheels look great, just stay away from the time attack look.

Maybe if it is really a groove cut in the wheel, with a pinstripe. To cut a good 1lbs off the wheel.

But lately everyone has been doing the fake time attack look.

I would have voted for "neither" if it were included in your poll

the p40's in black would look sick on your car and mean, but since you want silver go with the p43's hands down not even a question, the photo on ind's car and their p43's that is class act right there and i think thats what your looking for.
