Car Released to truck for over a week?

Hi guys,
My m3 has currently been sitting at the port of baltimore since Friday the 14th. The car cleared the VPC and was assigned a truck Monday the 16th and there is still no word on the car arriving. The dealer and the bmw genius line have little insight into what's the hold up. Has anyone else had similar experience recently?

Patience. Your car is likely not the only one loaded on the transport. Plus from VPC to western PA may take some time if they have to stop and drop off at different dealers along the way. Plus the weekend.

Have you tried tracking the receipt for the transport company. Do some searching on here and you can see how that's done.

Yes patience is key, but I have order several new BMW's and usually they take a few days so just seemed odd to me

According to my CA there is a hold on M cars coming from port. Not sure how true that is or what the details are

what is the spec for the new car..I live in Pitt. i sold my 2017 M3..but have a CS on order

Nope my car was on integrity. My CA sent an email to vpc to see what's going on. Apparently they have an m5 being held at port as well. It's just weird since my car got released to carrier so I'm assuming there weren't any issues with the car

My car was in baltimore few weeks ago.
Took 6 days since release to carrier until
It actually arrived in Pittsburgh. Lame

Picked the car up yesterday and drove straight to tint. Installed the painted reflectors last night as well (what a PITA!!)
