Well, arrived in Germany today. Got a long two weeks ahead of me though. Military guys know the deal of in-processing. Should get my car by the end of next week once I get my license, insurance, and registration. I've been waiting since March for this car. Worst part is, it's only an hour away from me.

Anyhow, 4 years of German bliss ahead of me.

I'm in the military as well and thought I lucked out when I got stationed in Southern California! Germany will be amazing!!

Got a taste of that on the way to Grafenwhoer from Ramstein. Gets pretty nuts from the looks of it.

It's very frustrating especially if you are cruising at 150 mph and you have to slow down to 80kph. Speed up, slow down. It's the German way.

Those damn traffic cameras are beast. They aren't far after a speed limit change either. Sneaky Germans.

I appreciate you and everyone thanking me for my service. I don't want to sound ungrateful but no need to. All volunteer army and I love what I do and get a lot of pleasure out of doing so. It's the American people and others that are owed thanks for supporting us for this long. So thank you!

Very true. I've caught myself having to slow down quite quickly from high speeds. Make sure to invest in a good set of pads,
