Paint aberration on brand new x5
While I was prepping the car for ceramic coating I noticed this on the rear lower tailgate. Looks like something wrong with the paint but it is completely smooth to the touch. It makes me think he issue was with the paint before they put the clear coat on.
It also means perhaps the dealership covered it over with some polish and wax or something coz it only got obvious after a wash.

Yeah you're right. I don't wanna delay the coating though if they correct it properly then I'll redo the lower tailgate.
