You know the carbon ceramic brakes are not just a different caliper right?

Just checking to let you know ahead of time.

Can they be retrofitted? What do you need?

You need to mod the dust shields as well.
If he just wants to run gold calipers to fool people in to thinking he has CCBs it may work on normal people but enthusiasts will be able to tell by looking at the brake rotor.

I am aware. I plan to do the calipers with the modified m5 steel rotors.

I don't really care what others thing. I think the gold calipers look so much better but the actual ceramics are not functional at all since I don't track my m.

Cool, just checking. I'd like to see a comparison of stock vs M5 brakes. If you do this that would make a really interesting thread.

Def, I'll follow up. The only reason I woudn't do if I find a set of BBK for better deal.

The CCB cost way too much to replace for regular people who don't track the car. I know the rears of PnP and the fronts just need 2.5mm spacers but the rotor also needs to be 400mm instead of 380mm.

I've never seen anyone specifically confirm this but are the six piston calipers used in the CCB kit the same calipers on the M5 and the M2 Competition? And they simply do not work on the 380mm stock discs.

You need a 400 mm rotor. Which is what the m5 uses. However the m5 caliper is not the same, it will work but needs a adapter.
