F83 trunk loading aid stopped working after car was coded

Hi Guys,

Anyone had any problems with the buttons in the trunk lid for M4 convertible stop working after coding? I recently coded my car for several things and not sure if there was something in the code that interfere with the loading aid. Button does not raise or lower trunk lid.
Any advise will be helpful.
Thanks!

Sorry to hear OP, but I have not had the same experience. I coded my 2015 F83 and the buttons on the inner trunk lid still work when the top is stowed in the trunk.

I suspect you know how it works, and that you have to hold the button in order for the lift system to work. Given that, it could be that some module was coded incorrectly. Do you know what specifically you were coding for in the car recently?

Did you do the coding yourself or was it a third party?

Thanks for chiming in, it was a simple mistake on my part, just got the car not too long ago, simple operator error . Everything is working fine now. I coded everything myself on E-sys n bimmercode. got the euro headlights to work, that was what i really wanted .
