Combining M Gruppe with Other Incentives

I am providing my own financing on a new F80. Since I am using the M Gruppe corporate incentive of $2000 instead of the bmw finance incentive, I am being told I cannot combine either of the two OL codes that have been circulating around bimmerpost: ski magazine sweepstakes and trip to Japan.

Anybody see the same thing?

The M Gruppe incentive can be applied even if you get the BMW finance incentive, it is just 500 instead of 2000. Those other incentives will stack though. What it doesn't stack with are other membership based incentives like BMW CCA, Costco and employer based fleet discounts.

I'm using the M Gruppe as $2000 since I'm not financing with bmw. They're telling me I cannot stack it with any of the other sweepstakes rebates (ski magazine or the trip to Japan). The M Gruppe is a corporate fleet discount.

You can combine the M Gruppe (or any fleet discount) and OL Code (only 1 OL Code however).

We did this for my wife's X3 M40i back in January. What I discovered however, was that the OL Codes ($1k in my case) was only partially funded by BMWNA ($500) and the dealer had to contribute the other $500. In the past, the OL Codes were fully funded by BMWNA. I was unaware of this beforehand (doesn't state this anywhere), but I bitched that this was part of our agreement and the dealer ate it.

Interesting. Well I was told that both OL codes were rejected due to the use of the M Gruppe incentive. Yes , it would have been $500 from bmw.

Does the dealer have anything to gain by denying a bmw incentive? I wouldn't think so. Anyway... not too worried. Just want my car already!!

If anything they're probably just worried that they won't get paid on it. They really just have something to lose if they give it to you and for some reason don't get paid.

I am planning on stacking fleet with an OL code and haven't been told it would be an issue.
