Is anyone else stuck in purgatory at the port/factory?

My car finished production on April 2nd, was stuck at the factory not having moved until last Monday (the 16th), missing two boats. Now, its been sitting at the port for a week and still doesn't have a vessel assignment and I'm worried its not going to make the ship on the 25th either.

Anyone else also stuck, anyone hear about the port being backed up?

This stinks! I am sorry to hear you're dealing with this. Is there a manager or supervisor or somebody at BMW NA or Genius that you can escalate this with?

FYI mine was built in late March and did not get on a ship until 16 days after production complete. It then ended up on a slower voyage though Panama Canal (32 days in transit). So unfortunately that does happen and nothing you can do about..

Yes, but unfortunately there's really nothing they can do.

That sucks, never heard of a transmit time that long.

I think what annoys me more is that I've heard of other people who finished production after me who have already made it on ships and left the port, I'm just not sure how or why that would be possible.

Yeah, my car is on a boat that is currently projected to take 31 days for transit between Bremerhaven and Port Hueneme -- *fingers crossed* for no additional delays beyond that.
