I think as long as they are matched, you are fine.

Not so sure about that. It may depend on the individual inspecting car but bmw may have a policy that all equipment should match the way car was delivered.

Why not just call the dealer and ask?

First off, the individual and/or dealer has a LOT of leeway in whey they will accept/deny - so the above is very true. Leasing and/or buying another BMW makes a lot of little things go away

Second off, I think (based on some other thread research), that the BMW lease says tires have to be the same grade, quantity, or quality as those delivered with the vehicle.

That can mean a lot of things - I know that if the car came with run-flats, it has to be turned in with them. But/and if you could argue the speed rating on the all seasons match the summers, then you might be ok.

and once again, if you are getting another BMW, then I would be you are 100% fine

It has nothing to do with the dealer... the inspection you get from autovin will be the final bill... if u bang it up afterwards or do anything to it ... it doesn't matter ... they just go off the final autovin report

....recently went thru a whole nightmare with lease return ... I had winter tires/rims on during the inspection but I returned the car to the dealer with oem summer tires ... took lots of calling to finally get the 3k bill revoked

since all dealers seem to vary here and there, best thing to do is contact the dealer your turning the car into and bring up any questions or concerns you have with them. They will let you know. Always best to ask that way you dont spend money you may not have to or get shocked when you turn the car in.
