No more CCB on M3?

Hi,

I have an allocation of M3 in April but my dealer just told me BMW factory will not provide CCB for normal M3 order so I have to cancel my CCB option.

Is there anyone having the same issue ?

I've been told the same on an 18' M4 order. Don't know whether to hold out for MY19 and see if the option is added back.

I would hold out for MY19. CCB pack has great value IMO.

Going for M3, I have no choice.

No 19 M3.
That's why he said he has no choice. Like no choice but to not get CBB.

The full retrofit kit is now down to the $10,000 range. IMO, if I were ordering another car I'd spec it with the standard brakes and do the full CCB Retrofit at this point. Even if the CCB's were available to still be ordered. For a price differential of ~~1,900 or so, having a brand new set of M brakes for the car, when CCB are shot or for future sale, would be a bargain.

Where did you see the $10000 retrofit kit ?

The lowest price I can find is 11433 USD on turner.

Maybe it was a holiday promo a few months back but I thought it was at turner myself. I'd figure up to about 11,500 it's a reasonable difference to consider the retrofit.

When (if...) it comes time to replace my ccbs I'll probably do the full retrofit myself and send the calipers out for rebuild. Calipers alone are a good chunk of returned cash with those monsters up front.
