Found my old 2017 M3 for sale on cars.com

Hey all just wanted to put out this quick post. I was looking on cars.com (i am addicted to looking for cars..haha) and i came across this post https://www.carvana.com/search/2000122659

This was my car i did Euro Delivery on in Aug. 2016. miss this car..it is like seeing an old girlfriend that you really liked and were not sure if you should have ended it..

haha. If anyone on here would end up with it let me know..or if any questions.

ALSO like i said i miss the car..Might be coming back to the M3..putting money down on a M3CS

I am always looking for new cars..and Mercedes gave me a great deal that i did not want to pass on..so as of now i have a 2017 AMG c63s.. the dealer must of taken a loss on that car as it sat on their lot for awhile then they sent it to the auction..it has been almost a year since i traded that car in..I am looking now for a new car and my BMW dealer has an M3 CS build for me..so as of now that might be the next car..i have the deposit on it but we still have not reached a price for the car.

I think it has more to do with MT. MT cars typically set a good long while, and Carvana will be sitting on it awhile too at that price.

Maybe the market has changed more recently, but when I was looking, MT cars were more expensive than brand new MT cars (looking at late 2015s/early 2016s, ended up ordering a 2016). Reason being that the MT cars were used, but they were right there waiting for you, vs. new cars had to be special ordered to get MT.

It's going to vary depending on the part of the country, but if you do a generic search on Autotrader or Cars.com, the MTs are routinely the cheapest cars and are usually a couple thousand less than comparable DCTs.

Yup, can confirm. Looking to pull the trigger on an F80 ZCP this week or next.

Well the DCT is a 2900 option so putting all demand differences aside...the auto is obvs going to cost more. now if both options were standard than manual would bring more price due to rarity in a sports car section

Yep, SO outside looks best with SO, black, silverstone or an individual color that contrasts with SO inside IMO. Hard to pair it up with a brown / tan / beige that doesn't contrast.

I saw that one in Carvana this weekend. Like previous poster I don't think Golden Brown looks too good with SO. Curious what you think OP.

It looks better in person than pics..but the whole build was a fiasco..it was never to be golden brown..it was to be comp pack with cohiba brown..but that's another story.

when i made this post they had the car listed for 64,100 now they have it listed for 62,900.

The dealer knows i might back out on the car..But if i decide i want it its mine. i am friends with most of the sales staff and the owner. i sat down with the GM and talked about the car and what all the options were. So we are good there, the biggest problem i have is we can not do Euro Delivery on that car. I can get in the M5 for the same price. time will tell

That's the sad truth. Most American's want automatics.

I'm glad BMW still offers the M3 in a manual but I think we all know the day is coming when that won't be the case.

That's why I purchased my M3 with a 6MT. One day it will be a future classic and it will be even better with the very low miles on it.
