Some of you might remember me from the E92 boards. I had 3 E92 M3s over the span of about 6 years, including a LRP 6MT that I sold a few years ago for my 911. I've been daily driving a M235i which is a great car and is plenty sporty for a DD but with 2 kids I need something bigger with 4 doors. I test drove a few F30s but they are just felt to soft to me. So with all of the great incentives currently available on the F80 I got an allocation through my local dealer and placed an order.
It's currently in production this week and me and the wifey are scheduled for a late May PCD. I was trying to the keep the price down so it's a pretty basic car. The way I see it the F80 is so well equipped out of the box I feel like the real value in these are a lightly optioned spec. Alpine White Cloth/carbonstructure DCT Black 19s Adaptive suspension CF roof CF Trim The M3 might see a few track days here and there but I'll mostly be tracking the 911. Anyway here are a few pics of the M235i, 911 and LRP. It's great to be (nearly) back in an proper M car! Last edited by M3 Esq; 03-22-2018 at 08:28 AM.. |

My kids are small 5 and 2 so yes I can stuff them in the back seats. They love the 911. The downside is they tell mommy how fast daddy drives it's a 991 base with 7mt and exhaust mods |

We were on the same boat. Sold my 2013 E92 M3 DCT DCT ZCP AW for a 2016 991.1 GTS MT. I will be getting the new 2018 M3 DCT ZCP YMB doing ED on late May. Also waiting for my 991.2 GT3T. Just got my allocation early this month. Enjoy and congrats.

Congrats on the F80 order and nice car stable. I'll never forget one set of the parents in the neighborhood car pool had a minivan and a 911. The mom always drove the 911 and picked up 3 kids to go to school. None of us minded crawling in the back. As a growing car enthusiast it was very special
