604 YVR Car shows/meets...

Hey fellow wet coasters!
Anyone got any info on lower mainland 604 car shows or meets - when/where they are held, contact info, etc?
Just moved out west and am looking forward to meeting up with fellow M enthusiasts...

Depends what sort of car shows you are into. There are several classic car shows around lower mainland, I personally like the Edmonds Classic Car Show in Burnaby. It is small, only down a portion of Edmonds street, but very family oriented. Abbotsford/Mission usually have the bigger classic hot rod shows and events.

Once in awhile during summer there will be car meets at the Langley outdoor drive-in movie theatre, and that is neat to check out.

If you're into imports, then just go check revscene.net. Younger crowds usually around mid 20s. They have their annual meet that easily get over 200+ cars.

For euro there is annual German Car Festival, July 22 in North Van. August 19 is the BMW Car Club Concour in North Van as well.

For exotic there is the Luxury & Supercar weekend, September 8th and 9th at Van Dusen Garden. There is also the Ferrari event in Yaletown once a year.

If you are looking to enter your car into a show then there is Driven To Perform show for imports or as I call it the dick measuring show Joke aside, the BMW and German fest you can enter your car into as well.

I go to Meets almost weekly, hit up the VMS on Saturday ones, they're at Spanish Banks 3:30 to 6:30, a few E9X M3s are there.

I went to two of them so far. Went on a cruise on Saturday to White Clyff park in West Van. Younger Crowd but everyone is all chill. There's no egos either unlike these other "lower end" meets.

Personally speaking; I prefer the VMS crowd over the other meet crowds for that fact alone. Too big of a dick measuring contest with the Thursday Night Meets.


To add onto this; I'm a pretty shy guy and these guys that I Just met I feel like I can talk to like I've known them for years. The other crowds not so much, idk why they all care how you got your car lol.
