Stoptech St-40 Aero rotor hats

Can any body tell me how to know which Aero rotor hat is Right or left? I recently purchased a used st40 kit and removed the old rotors from the hats. Now I can't tell which Hat is supposed to be left or right? I've checked the back and both hats have identical part numbers.

The hats should be fine regardless of which side. It's the rotor vane directions that makes a difference.

Right, it’s the rotors not the hats that are directional. And front hats are not the same as rear hats.

Thanks. I'm just changing fronts only.

I think the instructions are to use green loctite. I had red and blue so I had to go buy green.
