Here's $1000 for your new BMW
Sign up for the sweepstakes, get a $1000 OL code in your email inbox instantly.
http://skistmoritz.eventsbmw.com It says its valid only for 14 states in the NE (basically VA-WV and all states to the northeast), but if I lived somewhere else, I'd probably try it anyway. edit: it does say only valid at northeast dealerships so maybe it won't work for everybody Last edited by Wah; 02-01-2018 at 03:20 AM.. |

Eligible models: New in-stock 2017/18 BMWs excluding M2 Coupe and European Delivery vehicles.
Not sure if anybody has experience with this in the past but does in stock mean on dealer lot and not a configured order? Given that it specifically calls out Euro Delivery as excluded, wondering if that nuance would stop it from being applied to a configured order. |

I have had success using OL codes from different areas of the country locally in Dallas. I have purchased my last two vehicles from dealer stock, and I do not have any idea whether these would work with an ordered car or not.

Although that is what the coupon says, it is not true. It is valid everywhere I have tried. Asked about it in dealerships in the west coast, SE US and NE US. For cars on the lot and ordered cars. Everyone said yes.
Everyone also said that the coupon works this way: BMW pays $500 and the dealership pays $500. The dealership portion really does not matter because you are already negotiating this. Unless you are paying MSRP, I guess? In any case, it has worked everywhere I have tried. |

I just placed my order and am going to see if they will honor it. They will just make it back as I will tack on the CF diffuser... Sooo... Yeh.
Thanks!

I participated in a winter driving experience from BMW and was emailed the $1k voucher with valid OL code and my dealer said it didnt apply to ordered cars. Sucks because I had to drive hours to the event.

Still waiting to hear back from my dealer about honoring this. Will let everyone know the outcome. I just placed order on Tuesday so they are taking a look.

I got the "instock vehicles only" line. So no go on that one, although they are doing well with all the other discounts and will honor any when the car comes in also.

I also ordered a car from NE and that voucher was accepted for an ordered car (only the $500 that comes from BMW, not the $500 offered by the dealership) So, it is dealer dependent. |

I've had a dealership accept a $1000 OL code for an ordered M4 as well as denied by the same dealership for another ordered M4. It really depends on the deal you are getting and the mood of the manager that day.

Definitely dealer dependent. My CA went to her manager who had to go up the chain, and ultimately got the response that it was past the time they could make if work given my car.
It is what it is and already got a solid deal, so not crying over it. But as said, dealer dependent.

For the $500 covered by the dealer, I assume what they told you is that they have already given that discount to you before you presented the coupon. For the $500 covered by BMW, they are supposed to be the intermediary between the brand and you. So if you present a coupon and apply it, and then they tell you the deal stayed the same, they pocketed the difference. They had accepted a deal at, let's say invoice + $1,000. They were fine taking that spread originally, but they received an extra $500 from BMW, so now their deal is invoice +1,500 because they keep that extra $ in their pocket. I see no reason why they wouldn't apply your coupon and keep the incentive in their pocket instead of giving it to you. |

You sure about this? I just presented it to my CA here in TX and he will honor it. However, I have yet to present my $2,000 fleet discount (M Gruppe) paperwork. I didn't read anywhere in the fine print that the fleet discount would be negated. If that is the case, I'll obviously take the $2,000 fleet discount over the $1,000 Ski Magazine discount.

P0 is ED, and no BMWNA promos ever apply. P1 cars are marked as sold, and not eligible for promos like this. P2 cars are marked for dealer stock, and can use any promos that come up. When ordering my car, the dealer kept me at P2 intentionally in case incentives like this came up before the car was delivered.
