Stoptech ST60/ST40 Rotor change

Can anyone tell me if you can remove the rotor without removing the caliper on the Stoptech ST60/ST40 BBK's? It looks like it would be possible if you just remove the pads first.

The reason I ask is that I have a stud conversion so I definitely can't; however, I might go ahead and change out my studs at the same time if it saves me pulling the whole caliper off.

Removing and re-torquing the caliper carrier bolts is royal PIA so I'd rather not do that. My rotors have lasted almost a year anyhow so changing them at the same interval makes a lot of sense.

Must at least loosen the two caliper carrier bolts . This will allow you to "wiggle" the rotor off. Not that hard to loosen and then retorque this two bolts imho.

Just to be clear, are you talking about the two jet nuts that hold the caliper to the Stoptech carrier or the larger bolts that hold the Stoptech carrier to the car?

The jet nuts are easier to remove but the last time I did that, the whole stud came out of the carrier and it ruined the carrier and I had to buy another one so I'm paranoid about removing the jet nuts.

I'm talking the two bolts that hold the bracket to the car's hub. They are easier to loosen and tighten. I use a 1/2" or 3/8" torque wrench from Harbor Freight to tighten to spec. (I believe is 80 ft/lbs)
