Electronic M-Performance steering wheel HELP!!

I have the car for a day, but i realized my gear shifting lights on my electronic m performance steering wheel doesn't work. I thought it was the preset RPM being too high, i changed it to 1000 RPM, still nothing.

Everything else on the steering wheel seemed to be working fine, in eco mode, the green light come up at low rpm (guess its for efficiency). In the other 2 modes, the shifting lights don't light up at all even when i set them at 1k rpm.

Anyone have similar issue? My car was ordered and everything was installed at the port by BMW.

Mine has the same problem. Its intermittent. The problem is that the wheel isn't seeing the engine RPM. If you go to the configuration screen where you define the shift point, you'll likely see the real-time RPM reading at 0 despite the engine running.

Yes that's exactly what i thought the problem is, how did you fix it??
