Goodyear RFT 40e tire wear?
My 2018 40e came with Goodyear RFT's. I have a 30K mi lease. I'm deciding whether to replace with non-RFT tires now (less than 200mi on car) and switch the RFT's back on before lease turn in. I lost the tire lottery and got the lowest-rated OEM tires for my car. Actually, the ride is not as bad as that of my lease turn-in 528i with the Goodyear RFT's, so I could actually live with these tires UNLESS: the wear is such that I'd be buying a new set to meet the turn in requirements. In that case, I'd rather have a decent non-RFT on the car during my usage and give the Goodyear RFT's back to BMW at turn-in. I'm a gentle driver and usually get a lot of mileage out of a decent set of tires. So, my question: Who has experience with these tires and the mileage they got before either turn-in, or replacement to meet the BMW requirements?

My '15 X5 came with Goodyear RFT, which was still good after 25K when the lease's over.

My '17 35d came with Pirelli run flats. With all my BMWS and RR with run flats, I have never been as happy, as I am with the run flats. Even the RF Goodyears on my last two Rolls...hated them.
