Rear View Mirror swap?

Has anyone swapped a rear view mirror from a E9X 335 into their 135?

I?ve searched for info and/or videos, not much luck.

I'm also looking for info on swapping the mirror. I intend to swap it for a mirror with a built in screen (for rear view camera). Curious if I'll run into any issues.

I swapped a FLA mirror from a E90 328i into my E82. Just had to wire up the FLA part of the harness and it worked fine.

After doing some more reading I've found that the rain sensing wipers are controlled by a sensor in the mirror and also the keyless entry. If this is the case, looks like I won't be able to do a mirror swap. Can anyone confirm this?

The rain sensor is mounted to the windshield below the mirror mount. I believe only e88 (and maybe e93?) have the key functions in the mirror.
