2018 F80 M3 Sakhir Orange ZCP Maunal < 2000 miles
Hi I am trying to sell my 2018 M3 ZCP/MT/Fully Loaded. Around 1800 miles on the car. Photos are coming soon. Car is coded with tons of features. Reason for sale : Need to move to a better school district so need this off my credit report so I can get my mortgage approve. And I just switched to work from home, so no need more cars.

That $4,215 discount will not move the car... If I am correct, the free maintenance is no longer transferable so the new owner will have to pay for all services (2-3k value). Additionally, no one is paying full MSRP for M3/M4 at this point...
Nice car, but if you are serious about selling you will have to realize some losses and reduce the price. The car will probably sell around mid-60s. Good luck with the sale. |

Maybe I should lower it to $69980.

Coding is also not a selling point either as anyone can do this for $100 or so, or free if they are proficient at coding.

I respect your comment and you can say whatever you want, to guess why I need to sell the car, guess how poor I am that I can't afford my car. If you want to know, you can PM me to discuss my financial and give me your advise personally.

Thanks.
I have to thank them to make my post to the top. I thought those comments only happens on Hong Kong forum (I'm from Hong Kong). Looks like it's worldwide thing. If you not interest to the car, why can't they just move on?

Last 2 times I sold my car here, no one comments except those people are interested. As simple as that. I want to sell something for $xx, if you not interested then just move on. Keep things simple and easy.

Good luck on sale. Some people just need to move on. don't get why people have the need to always judge people on their reasons. No matter if some someone can afford it or not, wants to sell it for xyz reason... wish well and move on.

If you can afford it, just keep it and enjoy it. Priced at $73K, that's a tough sell. People on the the MY18 pricing thread are getting brand new ones (off the lot and ordered) for 4-7% discounts. Yours is listed at a 5.4% discount for a "used car". To many, it doesn't matter if it has 10 mile or 1,800 miles. If you're the second owner on the title, it's a used car and loans on used cars might not be as favorable as a brand new one. If it's the perfect car for someone in the market for one you might get lucky but again, it's not priced to sell. Tough pill to swallow considering you just paid sales tax on the car and taking an additional hit on the sales price. Forum members are picky since they probably have more info than the average joe looking to buy a used M3.
Again, if you can afford it, just keep it. If you really want to move it, drop it to $70K like you suggested and try your luck on car selling sites. |

It's never a good position to be a forced seller. Assuming that he took a 60k loan (10-15% down) on this car his payment must be around 1,000 a month. That 1,000 a month buys you a ~200,000 more house when you apply this to your mortgage payment. Seems like the house is a priority now, so unfortunately he will have to realize a substantial loss on his car. 10% off will not move it... no free maintenance, higher financing cost, used car and no one pays MSRP for M3/4 now. Good luck with the sale. |
