E92 M3 Shark Fender Air Vent (Opinion)

Need your opinion on the shark fender air vent on my E92 M3.

I made this and planning to put it on the fenders to give the M3 more aggressive looking in the front end.

Option 1.
Should I go wider/longer and more open vent (current has 4 with the same diameter)?

Option 2.
Should I keep it as is?

Option 3.
Don't even think about to put it on the M3?

I would say option one could look good with molding it into the fender and not having it stick off the body. I would also say I wider would look good. If it's gonna stick out I wouldn't do it all.

i like it, however, i would be afraid it wouldn't look as good once it is actually on.

is it just a plastic vent you bought off ebay for $10 and you are planning on bending it with a heat gun and molding it to your fender? if that is the case, i probably wouldn't do it.

i bet with a little bit of work and finesse, you can make the side blinker gills functional if you're bored and want a project.

I too am very keen to vent the front fenders. But those vents above don't follow the car's curves and looks weird.

Thanks guys,

This is not from eBay, it came off from a Porsche GT race car.
I was plan to use 3D scanner and 3D scanner to make the sample first.

However, I will look more into it and once again, thank you all for the commend.

Why not have someone modify your stock fenders to vented around the lower half moon? I had this done on my MINI R56 JCW, looked nuts.

If you're going for the same benefits as the fender vents that are on the GT3 RS then maybe go with the style similar as that car's vents? If you look at the front fender directly from the side then it probably easier for air to escape rearward instead from the top.

Please for the love of all things good and holy stick a fake vent onto your fender. Go to church right now and repent for even thinking about doing this.
