Painting 666m wheels

Hey all, I have a aw m4 with the comp pack and everything is black and white right now but the wheels. I have been looking to paint them for quite some time now, but a few things are holding me back.
1) how would glossy black 666m wheels look?
2) knowing that the car is leased, would I be penalized?
3) I am more than likely putting the car on lease transfer in May so I can purchase an AMG gts, therefore would my investment of $300 be worth it for the meantime?
Considering this, I've been thinking of possibly plastidipping the wheels rather than painting...

-There's already a few threads on painted 666m. They dont look that bad in gloss black.

-Unless it's completely off-color, I doubt you'll be penalized for black paint. They offer 666m in black now from bmwusa

-Whether the $300 investment is worth it is on you. IMO, since it's a lease I wouldnt waste time/money, but if you think it'll look better then go for it.

The 666 they offer in black are not gloss black throughout. If it is a strict turn in at the end of the lease yes you will be penalized. A lot of times it does not happen because the dealer will buy the car and try to sell it themselves instead of sending it to auction. If that is the case in your situation you are fine. However, if not, you will be penalized. I learned this the hard way a while back.

1) They look so so, IMO (subjective). Search and you will see pics
2) Most likely and it would be VERY expensive
3) Only you can decide that

If it were me, I'd leave them alone.

Why not just buy a set of nice aftermarket wheels. Swap them back to stock at end of lease and sell the wheels. Please do not Plastidip anything on this car. No car deserves Plastidip

Why bother if you are going to lease transfer in May? Save the cash and spend it on the other car.

Or buy a set of black 666 and sell the current silver 666 and return with the black ones since they're OEM.

My 2017 M3 Comp Package has gloss black painted wheels, and they look great (according to every person who has seen them). MUCH better than the machined rims on my alpine white car with gloss black and carbon fiber accents.
