The car needs 20s
After having an F82 with 19s for almost three years and having my current ZCP F83 with 666 20s, I really feel that the car looks significantly better with 20s. I'm not talking specifically about the 666s, which I've grown to really like and appreciate, but just 20" wheels in general. The 20s appear to better visually fill the wheel openings and tend to make the car look smaller (even though the overall tire diameter is really unchanged). Just MHO, but now when I see a car with 19s, the wheels look small - too small. I have not noticed any degradation in ride quality, but I did transition to the F83, which I've been thoroughly enjoying. On a side note, the convertible appears shorter due to the roof line when the top is up.

Wow!! Simply stunning man! I agree with you, after seeing the 666M 20s in person, I fell in love with them and so does every person who sees my car, the first thing they say is "nice rims!"
Also I feel the car is more stable when cornering and the wider wheels give it a better stance! Here's mine! vettes FTW!

Great looking car. But I am abut surprised that the the 20" wheels gives the same ride comfort . How about the road noise is it the same as 19" |

also, with the 19s, I had Continental, now with the 20s they are Michelin PSS which are superior IMO

I think it's preference/purpose. I haven't had my M4 long but on most cars removing wheel gap by lowering makes them look better if the stock wheels aren't terrible undersized.
Generally stock size or 1 inch bigger than stock for show wheels and stock or lower for track setups in every car community I've been apart of. Personally I'll be going 19's or 20's probably 20's I think : |

2- Power delivery is smoother and more linear. In the non-ZCP, when you mash the throttle, there is a slight lag then all of a sudden BOOM, you get that splurge of power. With the ZCP, it's more linear as in, it starts accelerating faster and the power starts building gradually not suddenly. Is it obvious? not very much. I bet you if I gave you 2 cars, 1 ZCP and one standard and told you tell me which is which, you won't be able to dell a difference. Yes I know reviews say the ZCP has a tuned setting for the suspension and whatnot, but it's the same to be honest. Again, I'm no pro driver and don't track my car, just telling you my perspective as a *regular* driver who uses his M4 as a daily driver Out of the long list of upgrades that come with the ZCP, the most obvious and the most worthwhile is the burbles and crackles, man it's insane, every time you let your foot off the gas, you hear like thunder bapbapbapbap...that gives me all the joy...

That's the way to go! Good choice. You'll get all the blacked out parts as standard now so no need to spend on them in the future as well which makes the car look way better vs the chrome ones and if you add them yourself later, they won't add to the value of the car when you sell it but with the ZCP it will.

Counterpoint:
Doesn't need big RIMZ. What it needs is less wheel gap.

I picked up my M3 competition 2 days ago and was seriously conflicted (even did a split screen) on which one I should choose.
In the final hour I asked the dealer to switch back to 20's and I am super happy with my decision they look great in my opinion

I think it depends on your suspension, and what tire/wheel specs you want to use. With 19's, you can run wider tires without having to reduce the sidewall from potential rubbing.
With my 275/35 fronts, it's pretty close on my KW V3's, but fits perfect with the 19's. I bet if I switch to 20's, I'll have to either reduce it to 265 fronts or down to 30's. |
