BMW Splitters installed. Fail.

Installed BMW genuine splitters. Expensive but I love the look. Took a photo of the car for fun.

Pulled out of my driveway.

Scraped the right one up.

First drive.

Goddamnit.

Just accept the fact they will scrape occasionally and that there's nothing you can do -- you'll have a lot less anxiety. 99/100 people won't be able to see it anyway.

With that kind of driveway I wouldn't even bother.

If you want to fix it, you can - just get some clearcoat paint and it will touch up the scratches if it's not too deep. You might need to wet sand it a bit though.

This. I know it sucks since you just installed them, but they're bound to scrape sooner or later.

Looks great! Hopefully the scrape is just underneath and not visible.

My car is almost identical to yours; just missing the splitters and ZCP wheels.

i put on splitters on my e36 m3 and they both broke off when i backed out of the driveway. lasted 4 seconds so dont feel too bad
