Octane Additive Needed?
The majority of the gas stations in my area have 91 and two BP's have 93 and somehow 2/4 times I've gone there its been out of 93.
Should I be using an octane additive with my '17 M3 ZCP or is 91 ok? I am in MN for what it's worth and we have been hovering in the high 80's low 90's this summer. I've tried to find a thread on this already, but it seems like they all end in an argument. If there is another thread, please point me there. On a side note, I am most likely going to garage it in the winter... Anything special about the fuel I should know? Thanks! Last edited by X5i4M4; 07-28-2017 at 09:34 PM.. |

Are you tuned?
I moved from MA (93) to AR (91) and didn't notice a difference in performance or fuel economy. I actually found a station nearby that sells Top Tier ethanol free, which is what I've been running (increased storage life since my commute is so short now...)
