Help: 19" tire/wheel combo

I have an e88 base, came with 16" and a few years ago I put 19" on it for summer and kept my stock rims for snows.

It's time for new tires and I was looking for some members to comment on sizes.
The rear I have 265/30R19s and the front I believe are 225/35R19". Both fit but I was looking to hear how big of a sidewall I can go to before they rub? I hate the 30 series and really want a 35 in the rear. Is this possible or will they rub? Right now the tire is stretched to wide on the rim, I believe it says not to mount on a rim this wide.

I don't want new rims, just ideas on tire size

Thanks guys

Need wheel width and offset, those are the two most critical concerns.
Going taller is going to throw off your odometer, mess with fuel mileage. Something to consider as well.

Hmm I can't remember the offset. I don't care about the speedo, it's been off 3mph since the car was built.

If you are running a 265/30/19 on a 9" wheel, it shouldn't look stretched by any means. That size is designed to be run a wheel no less than 9" wide per most tire manufacturer recommendations.

Running the 265/35/19 would probably cause rubbing issues, but it also depends on the offset of your wheel. The 265/35/19 would be over an inch taller than your front diameter.
