Buy MY2017 M3 now or wait?
To get the best deal on a 2017 m3, should I wait a few more months until the 2018's are on lot or buy now?
also what percentage off MSRP should I be aiming for on 2017 m3 right now? thanks everyone |

for me I have a 2016 non ZCP and I am going to eventually get a 2018 ZCP but thats because once I saw the new upgrades (lighting, black 666m ZCP wheels) I immediately started to hate my car...and myself.

like stated above, the 2017 M3 inventory is very limited, if you can find one with your exact specs you want and a decent price jump on it. 18s are going to be very lowly allocated so expect dealers to charge more for them, also makes it a little tougher to get a allocation when dealers are getting 0-2 every few months.
If you are even thinking about getting a 18, I would highly recommend you lock in a allocation as soon as you are able to find one (if dealer give you a production number, it means you have a allocation) just make sure you get everything dialed in, in writing. happy hunting

if you find one that meets your specs, buy it. Enjoy life now, why wait. Guys like us are always upgrading anyway. Buy now and then trade up when the next gen M's come out. Win Win.

Good things come to those who wait.
Wait a little bit and order it the way you want

Completely agree. I waited 9 months for mine from the order entry, to the delivery. The allocation i got was a week 17 2016 build and I ordered in october 2015.

I would wait. BMW is really good at making you feel like your car is outdated(and need an upgrade like RIGHT NOW) and you're definitely going to feel that way if you pick up a '17 M3 that's been sitting at a dealer for several months by now.
Wait it out. Maybe even at least till December when dealers have a bit more inventory and more year-end incentives are out to drop the price. |

i didnt even get within 1k of invoice when i bought mine in 2015, so i feel your pain. but yeah 1-2k below invoice is feasible, you just have to know how to shop.
