Straight bolt-on to your OEM mids. No modification necessary. The Y you posted above deletes the resonator.

Only one of many factors in reducing noise (turbos, primary cats, secondary cats, resonator, muffler)
If you want noise, go custom or get a Berk Tech Race axle-back. Infinite options with an exhaust. You could buy this and slide a smaller diameter pipe into the resonator(as long as it has a flange it'll stay in place) which will bypass the baffles inside of it.
