In for Service today
im sick worried haha
i took her in at 1160 miles. i told them about the long cranks and they heard it and agreed it's not normal fuel pump problem is highly potential. I asked about transmission noises. i know everyone is having the same but i thought i'd bring it up anyway. i said no wash, and no coffee allowed inside the car whatsoever. i got a E90 335 loaner that's auto with sports package. Fast car i have to say. but WOW it's a whole world of difference between the 2 cars. will receive a call in about 6 hours from now to update me. i hope it's all good news. |

update: sorry i was busy yesterday
basically told me the crank is normal BUT i have to keep an eye, which means it's not really normal but they didnt wanna fix it yet. i got the car back, it just doesnt feel right. feels off, i cant get used to it. sometimes at low speeds when i take off in first and turn my wheel it makes a noise, really weird noise. idk how to describe it. the other thing is the car jerks in first gear occasionally AFTER smoothly shifting and releasing the clutch. like let's say i take off going like 7-10, then i push it a little it jerks like crazy, like riding a crazy horse. unbelievable. and the way im pushing it is very smooth, not doing anything suddenly. very weird now. they fucked up my seat position too so i spent the longest time fixing that. also after the service my gas mileage dropped like 1 gallon. i havent pushed it at all yet. i need to read the manual to learn more about the break-in and when i can push it, but feel free to post here coz im really busy these days hahahaha save me time that's all |

My dealer did the same thing. My seat memory was gone and they reset the damn clock. It's easy to fix those things but it's so annoying and disappointing that they can return the car to you in that state. You would think that they have it in their procedures not to mess those things up. This was at Bob Smith in Calabasas for the record.

Went for my 1200 mile service a few days ago
had a great experience. Was worried of course, but Performance BMW in NC was fantastic. My service representative was fantastic. His name is Maurice. To those in my area, I highly recommend him. < 3 hours later I was back in her revving all the way. Unreal what 3rd gear does...
