vorsteiner diffuser, trunk randomly opening

I installed the vorsteiner diffuser this weekend and everything went smoothly and fine.

However now when i am near the trunk sometimes it will just randomly pop open. I'm guessing something to do with the sensor at the bottom of the bumper but not sure why it is triggering with the diffuser installed.

Anyone run across this problem and know a solution or what I could be doing wrong?

The CF is interfering with it. Happens with the OEM diffuser at well. Apparently you can move the sensor.

It happens 1/4 the time I use the trunk

you can disable the function by coding it out if you want....

really? I had EAS try, but they couldn't do it.

When I'm using my pressure washer it is strong enough to make the trunk-kick sensor pop the trunk through the carbon fiber diffuser.

That said, I can't get it to work any other way. Although my diffuser isn't Vorsteiner, CF acts the same way in terms of this sensor. Could have to do with the fitment, etc.
