question about the side mirrors
Hey all,
I have a 2017 m3 and noticed that both side mirrors have a blue tint/film on them that doesn't extend all the way to the edge. Not sure if it's part of the dimming feature or if it's something like a protective film that the dealer forgot to take off before delivery. I'm afraid of damaging it if I try to take it off and it's a film that's supposed to be there. Just looks a little weird because it makes the mirror look obviously not uniform. Anyone know? |

I guess it's somewhat new as my e92 never had the frame look yet the dimming worked beautifully. Just wondering why they went to this what I think is ugly when the previous implementation worked just fine.

You could always sell your new car and buy another E92.
