In two to three years, someone would probably want to buy them since by then those cars will get older and need shock replacement.

I doubt even in 2-3 years. I had my E60 M5 for 7 years on the EDC shocks and lowering springs and never had an issue of one of the shocks going out. I have heard of cars that had maybe 1 fail. Its not common. OP is better off just keeping it as spare parts.
