Z4 M Coupe Window Question

Hi, all. For you Z4 M Coupe owners out there, although this probably applies to Z4 Coupe owners, too, has anyone ever turned off their engine while their windows were being rolled up? Just curious. I did this a couple of times and as soon as I kill the engine, the windows come back down (i.e. fully open) instead of continuing to close. My previous 3-series all would continue rolling up the windows (& moonroof) until they were shut.

I don't have an M, but I have similar issues when shutting off the engine or letting the RPMs dip too low.

Ditto on the coupe 3.0si! Really annoying!!!!

Also hate it that if you open the door that the power gets cut and the windows stop before they are completely up!!! This is a problem when I have a passenger with me and they try to get out before I have the windows fully up!! I have to stick the key back in and turn it to on.

Ditto in my car; most likely a safety feature since usually engine off means doors are going to open.

Ditto here too, except when a door opens, everything stops. The top stops as soon as the key is taken out of pos3.

You can still close the windows after you get out of the car; just use the key in the door and hold it in the LOCK position for a few seconds.

Definitely a problem here as well. Quite a big annoyance for as small of a thing as it is.

taught myself to be patient and wait until the windows roll up before turning the car off...

Along with having to hold the button to close the roof and hold the button to close the freaking passenger side window.

What i don't understand is, there's 1 button up for the driver side, but not the passenger side.

Fricking idiot designers.

Mine as well. The newer models have 1 up and 1 down for all windows.
