Alpine White 261 Rims

What is everyone's thought on the idea?

I was looking at colour options for my older set when i remove them from the car.. i could go the standard silver/chrome and my new set are gloss black..

but then I looked up white on white combinations and IMO it looks great.

Im already sold on the idea, but Im asking the floor to see if others think it could work?

Im thinking of going Alpine White rims to match the colour of the body...

I think if you can pull off the contrast black & white look, like that example, the white wheels fit.

Brake dust will be a daily chore tho. Like, every day.

I have never once seen white wheels that I like. In my opinion, they would always look significantly better if they were almost any other colour.

White can look great but yeh, look dirty within a few km of driving!

IMO they need to be a bright white or the same as 135i white (Alpine White?).

That last one looks great. The first one - eeegghh, its like someone drowned a spider in fly spray.

Try spraying them with white Plasti-Dip first to see how you like it.

I thought it was going to look like ass but in those photos above I actually don't mind it at all. Like what was said before, just make sure that you get some low dust brake pads.

white one white looks good depending on wheel design. I had white one white with my last car.

Another idea is gold. A subtle gold, not a rich in your face gold.
