Yeah its a long story of a flip flopping car enthusiast who didnt want to wait 5 months for a GT350 he "may" like better than his M4 ZCP that was sitting at the lot. The dealer made me an awesome deal, loved the way the new car drove, and no wait so I took it.

Freaking awesome. I better not hear you wining about shit now, lol.
You need to start a thread on this experience, I'd be real curios to hear your overall impressions of the ZCP vs 2015 M3.
Congrats.

Car looks beautiful! I have the same (except SO interior) and was thinking about getting the diffuser without the rear m-performance spoiler. Any way you could post more pictures? Or email me some? Would really appreciate it!

I see yours has contrasting Sakhir stitching - mine has contrasting Silverstone stitching, but apparently that was only supposed to be via special request (and $1000).

Does everyone else with a ZCP have similar contrasting stitching?

It's individual full black with Sakhir stitching. Msrp was around $2000 on top of full leather.

Weird - mine's full black, but came with the Silverstone stitching. According to the order sheet, Silverstone stitching was an additional option:

Quote:
For F80/F82 models, Black Full Merino Leather Trim with Silverstone stitching (Z1XX) is available via special request - contact Regional Distribution Office.
I enquired about it, they said it was $1000 extra, so I opted out - but it seems wherever you have the Sakhir stitching, I have Silverstone anyway.

Silverstone is the standard stitching color with black full leather. Sakhir is an individual option.

According to my quote above, which came from the BMW NA Pricing Guide, it's a special request option? Or if not, what extra stitching does Z1XX come with?

I dont know . But I can tell you Sakhir stitching is a $2100 individual option . I know full black in standard cars comes with SS stitching.

BMW will not do contrast stitching on anything other than full leather ($3600) then it's up to them what they wanna charge on top.

If you order full black leather with ZCP you get silverstone contrast stitching at no additional cost.

Ok - then what is this (in the ZCP section of the Price Guide):

Weird - I nearly plunked down $1000 for it, and now it seems it's free anyway!

Damn - I'm more fucked up than I thought

P.S. - not a special order guide... it's the standard pricing guide that was posted on here

My understanding is that GREY contrasting stitching is standard with the extended and full black leather interiors.

SILVERSTONE contrasting stitching can be ordered as an individual option just like orange, yellow or blue. A few threads on the topic:

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=957138
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=957505

That being said, I wonder how different the Silverstone stitching is to the standard grey one. Maybe it "pops" (shinier/more contrasting) a little more ...

And that should almost be the point. You spent the extra dough to get a visibly different option. Grey versus SS... not worth an extra penny in my opinion.
