I doubt the NT01 285/35R19 would work in front.

I had the rear 275/35R19 PSS installed in front and it was a tight fit. There was very little clearance left with the fender liner with only partial steering angles (see picture below). The NT01 tread is quite squarer and wider than the PSS, so I seriously doubt an even taller and wider NT01 would fit without interference.

I have CCB brakes so i need a 19 inch, the only front that would work is a 285/35/19. has anyone tried to mount a tire this big on our m4 and does it work? if it rubs only on the extremes i don't mind as i'm never full lock on the track anyway. In addition any vendors or members can point in me in the right direction for cheap light track wheels for the ccb equiped cars that want to run 285 / 305 tire!
I've heard with the right offset 285/30/19 will work and 285/30/18.

I think the 285/30/19 would work. The overall height would be slightly smaller and that is what is causing the issue.

NT01 are not offered in 285/30R19

How are you burning them? Are you getting even wear? Could you be over-driving the car?

From what I read, the RE71R is a pretty stout track tire and should wear less than an NT01 (200 tread-wear rating vs 100)...

Otherwise, there is the Pilot Sport Cup 2 that you can have in either 255-275/35R19 or 265-285/35R19 (much more expensive), but are a fair bit pricier than the RE71R.

wear is worse on left side due to lcmt. but afraid camber plates will throw off my balance for street driving. they last 3-4 days now. and although there is tons left to improve I feel i'm pretty smooth and not overdriving the car.

Wearing the left side is normal at LCMT. Do you rotate yours tires between each track day? When I mention even wear, I am talking about even wear across the tread of each tire.

The M4 does not need a huge amount of camber (as opposed to the E46 and E92). I run -2.5deg in front and I am able to wear down my track tires pretty evenly. I do need to swap them inside out mid-way though. So far I am not seeing any adverse wear on my street tires with the -2.5deg camber and the car feels much more stable and planted. Interestingly, my F82 wear rear tires way faster than fronts. The first of M3/4 to do so, I guess all that torque coming out of corners is a big contributor to that .

I think 285/30/19 is possible but not a 35 profile.

Check out this thread where a 305/30/19 was run in a square setup:

You have not answered my earlier question about tire wear across the tread. Are you only wearing the shoulders with plenty of tread left on the rest of the tire? Or are you wearing the tires nicely and evenly across the whole tread albeit at a very fast rate?

I am surprised that the RE71R would wear that fast. They should last at least as long as the NT01. The reason I keep asking, is that if the problem is with your car/alignment, switching tires will likely not improve things much. Going with a stickier compound can even make things worse (more tire rollover due to the increased grip, hence more shoulder wear).

Before I installed my camber plates, I wore down a pair of front NT01 to the cord on the outside shoulder in just 3~4 track days with still had over 60% of tread depth left on them on the rest of the width. I was pissed .

I am running 275-305/35R18 NT01 on 18X10ET25-18X11ET44 Apex EC-7 wheels
